نامه دانشجویان علوم پزشکی به سازمان جهانی بهداشت در پی حملات جنایکارانه به مراکز درمانی

به گزارش خبرگزاری آگاه، جمعی از دانشجویان دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی جمهوری اسلامی ایران در نامه‌ای خطاب به سازمان جهانی بهداشت، حمله به مراکز درمانی و امدادی در کشور را محکوم کردند و خواستار واکنش این نهاد بین‌المللی شدند.

در این نامه با اشاره به حمله به مراکز درمانی از جمله بیمارستان گاندی تهران، بیمارستان خلیج‌فارس بوشهر و همچنین ساختمان مرکزی جمعیت هلال‌احمر و تیم‌های امدادی در برخی مناطق، تأکید شده است که هدف قرار دادن بیمارستان‌ها و مراکز درمانی نقض صریح اصول حقوق بشردوستانه و ماده ۱۸ کنوانسیون چهارم ژنو به شمار می‌رود.

نویسندگان این نامه با بیان اینکه در اطراف این مراکز درمانی هدف نظامی قابل توجهی وجود نداشته است، این اقدامات را نمونه‌ای از نقض قوانین بین‌المللی دانسته‌اند و یادآور شده‌اند که حمله به بیمارستان‌ها پیش از این نیز در برخی مناطق از جمله غزه تکرار شده است.

دانشجویان علوم پزشکی در ادامه از سازمان جهانی بهداشت که بر اساس اساسنامه خود دستیابی مردم جهان به بالاترین سطح ممکن سلامت را دنبال می‌کند، خواسته‌اند با محکوم کردن این اقدامات و استفاده از ظرفیت و نفوذ بین‌المللی خود، برای جلوگیری از تکرار چنین حوادثی اقدام کند.

در پایان این نامه تأکید شده است که جامعه بهداشت و درمان ایران انتظار دارد نهادهای بین‌المللی در برابر حمله به مراکز درمانی و نیروهای امدادی موضعی جدی و قاطع اتخاذ کنند.

Once again, the violator Zionist regime and the arrogant regime of the United States showed their unattachment to the international law by their terrorizing operations against some of the most valuable people of this country like Imam Khamenei (PBUH) and after getting targeted by strong military strikes of brave Islamic Iran's special forces, tried another kind of human lawlessness, which was attacking some of the health care foundations like Gandhi hospital for children, Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) building in Tehran, Persian Gulf hospital in Bushehr and so many health care teams all around, while there wasn't any military targets around them, which is a contravention of article 18 of GCIV for not invading hospital and health care foundations.
These actions of mentioned regimes weren't for the first time since they did it so many times after another in Gaza, and won't be the last if the international foundations like WHO and UN fail to interfere or put a pressure on them.

We as representatives of Iran's medical service community, are clearly asking World Health Organization who calls itself the largest intergovernmental health organization at the international level and claims that its purpose is to achieve the highest possible level of health for all of the world's people, to condemn these actions and use its power forcing them not to take these kind of actions in wars ever again.
